The two companies Kolosej Cinematographers and Ljubljana Cinematographers are linked by ownership, however Kolosej Cinematographers presents films in its own cinema network, while Ljubljana Cinematographers distributes films. Kolosej Cinematographers manages Kolosej Koper, Kolosej Ljubljana, Kolosej Maribor, Kranj Cinema Centre; Kolosej Celje was recently closed. The average number of spectators in all of the Kolosej cinemas is 200,000 per month. The Kolosej venues present mostly Hollywood film productions, however European, Asian and art film production also features in their programme - eg at the Kinoklub Vič, an art film cinema in the centre of Ljubljana. High technological standards are maintained in all the halls, and two halls at Kolosej Ljubljana have a THX certificate. Several halls are equipped with an LCD projector and conference sound equipment. Kolosej Cinematographers co-presents the Golden Reel Award.
