The database of societies or associations (društvo is a form of non-governmental organisation) that engage in culture, primarily amateur or youth culture, with a calendar of events, which are organised by them. The database (in Slovene language) contains around 2,500 organisations (choirs, folklore groups, youth clubs, ethnic minority groups, theatre groups, etc) some with contact details only, others longer presentations (especially organisations that do not have their own website). The Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia (JSKD) offers also space for website or e-mail addresses for the members of associations.
