The activities of the Việt Nam branch of the NGO American Friends Service Committee in Việt Nam focus mainly on rural development issues, with particular emphasis on those marginalised from society because of gender, ethnicity or location. However, it is also currently engaged in literary development work with writers, editors and publishers in Việt Nam.
