Established in 1966, the Việt Nam Historical Association is dedicated to historical research and scholarship in all fields of Vietnamese history. To this end it organises a variety of activities aimed at bringing together Vietnamese historians, oversees a vigorous publication programme and offers a number of prizes to recognise and promote excellence in historical scholarship.
