Established in 1977, the Central Secondary School of Records Management and Archives 2 offers secondary-level courses and vocational training in archives and records management and office skills for those seeking a career in the archives and records management or in the offices of state and party institutions, social, political and professional organisations, businesses and the armed forces. Secondary-level courses are of two years’ duration and offer specialisation in either Archives, Administrative Work/Records Management, Office Secretarial Work or Office Administrative Work, whilst vocational training is of 15 months’ duration and offers either Typing, Records Management or Secretarial Work. The school also offers part-time, in-service and short-term intensive courses.
