This annual event showcases the best in local TV filmmaking. The 22nd Festival of 2003, held in Hồ Chí Minh City, featured 307 TV movies submitted by television stations around the country, including for the first time stations which broadcast in ethnic minority languages. Featuring the award of 34 gold medals, 86 silver medals and 187 certificates of commendation, the festival was attended by over 700 representatives of the TV industry, including directors, actors, cameramen, musicians and design artists, and also offered an oppportunity for producers to meet and exchange experiences.
