Located in Phú Ðình hamlet, Ðịnh Hoá District, Thái Nguyên Safe Area (ATK, An toàn khu) is the place where Hồ Chí Minh and several other founding leaders of the Communist Party Ðảng lived and worked between 1947 and 1954, planning the campaign against the French colonial government. Listed in 1981 as a historic monument, it comprises various underground rooms and shelters restored in period style.
