Located some 60 kilometres south of Ha Noi, the School of Broadcasting 1, Phủ Lý offers two- and three-year Certificate and Diploma programmes for trainee radio and television technicians, operators, producers and reporters. Most of its graduates go on to work for local radio and television stations around the country. A UNESCO-assisted project costing US$210,000 has recently been approved to help upgrade the school in terms of human resource development.
