Mia Pagoda (VNAT)
Mía Pagoda, originally called Sùng Nghiêm Tự Pagoda, is said to have been built in 1632 by the Lady Nguyễn Thị Rong, wife of Lord Trịnh Tráng (1623-1657), although an earlier pagoda is believed to have existed at the site. The bell tower and its great red bell of 1743 are of particular interest, while the main temple itself houses 287 statues of all sizes, a bronze gong cast in 1846 and the Lady Mía stele, dating from 1632.
