The Fashion Design Institute (Fadin) was established to create opportunities for talented designers to meet apparel firms and extend support to those with strong potentiality in product development, with the aim of creating original Vietnamese garments of high quality. It works with a variety of agencies including UNESCO Centre for Fine Art and the British Council with a view to furthering the development of the fashion industry in Việt Nam and co-organises the annual Việt Nam Fashion Week.
