Founded in 1952, this acclaimed 36-member provincial performing troupe specialises in the music and dance of various central highland ethnic groups, notably the Gia-rai and Ba-na. The company includes two People’s Artists (Nghệ sĩ Nhân dân, NSND) and three Excellent Artists (Nghệ sĩ Ưu tú, NSƯT). It performs widely throughout the region, takes part in various national festivals and has toured its work overseas to the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, Bulgaria, Hungary, China, Thailand and France.
