Saigon Tourist Cable Television (SCTV) was launched in 2001. At the time of writing the sole cable television provider in the south, this multi-channel cable TV network offers four local channels plus an international bouquet which ranges from CNN, BBC World, TV5, ESPN and Discovery Channel to MTV Asia, Star Movies, Star World, HBO, Cartoon Network and TCM.
