The Isaan and Lao Artists Group seeks to bring together Lao-speaking artists from the Isaan (north eastern) region of Thailand and from the Lao PDR for creative exchange and collaboration. Where funding is available it seeks to provide opportunities for its members to exhibit at an annual exhibition held on a rotational basis in Thailand or Laos. Group members share news of competitions, shows, studio spaces, and other information of interest to artists. The Group’s combined knowledge and contacts are among its greatest strengths for encouraging individual success. Most importantly, the Group encourages member artists to create work, and improve the work that it is creating.
