This municipal venue is the main stage for performing arts in the region. It is also used as a movie theatre and hosts various other activities. Kautokeino Arts Centre houses the Sámi National Theatre Company which has first call on use of the auditorium. Heated, availability in partnership with the theatre.

Seating: 150 seats total on fixed risers plus space for 4 wheelchairs, no standard seats lost through use; proscenium opening: 6.7m W x 4.6m H; performing area: 8m W x 12m D x 4.5-5m H to grid, flat stage floor 0.5m above auditorium floor, dance floor available, get-in via 1.8m W x 2m H door 0.3m above street level; forestage: 5-10m W x 5m D in front of proscenium, adjustable; side stage SR: 1.2m W x 6m D x 4.1m H; side stage SL: 3m W x 6m D x 4.1m H; suspension equipment: 12 hand lines, max load 60kg each, 3 lighting bridges over stage, 1 lighting bridge over auditorium; soft hangings: blue/yellow house curtain, black legs and borders, cyclorama; lighting: AVAB 202 48-channel computer control, 36 x 2kw dimmers, basic rig; sound: Soundcraft Spirit 16-channel mixer, Soundcraft 600 power amplifiers, Meyer loudspeakers; film/video equipment: Bauer 35mm projector, flown cinema screen; stage equipment: 1 Mason Hamlin C concert grand piano, smoke machine; backstage: 2 dressing rooms accommodating 15 persons total, wardrobe, green room
