 Founded in 1802, the Edinburgh Review has always balanced a strong Scottish focus with a keen interest in international intellectual currents. It is a journal of ideas, also with fiction, poetry and book reviews, which seeks to engage with Scottish intellectual traditions and provide a forum for critical political thought. With Edinburgh University Press, the Centre for the History of Ideas in Scotland also publishes the book series Edinburgh Review Introduction.
