The Co-operative Information Retrieval Network for Scotland (CAIRNS) provides descriptions of information resources of all kinds held in libraries in Scotland, and online resources of interest to Scotland and its people. It connects a number of library catalogues which have a specific focus on culture including the Scottish Poetry Library collection and the Union Catalogue of Art Books in Libraries in Scotland. Its website allows many library catalogues to be searched in one go.
