Orkney College seeks to provide the highest quality of education, training and lifelong learning opportunities for the people of Orkney and beyond. This is achieved by responding to local needs, making use of the latest developments in technology and reflecting the distinctive characteristics of Orcadian culture. Operating from new and even more recently extended custom-built premises, Orkney College, through its involvement as one of the 13 academic partners in the UHI Millennium Institute, is now able to deliver a wide range of Higher Education and Degree courses in addition to the traditional base of Further Education provision. The College offers MA and PGDip programmes in Archaeological Practice, BA (Hons) programmes in Culture Studies and National Certificate in Art and Design, National Certificate in Creative Textiles and HNC/HND Art and Design programmes.
