The School of Education was established in December 2001, following the merger of the University of Aberdeen and Northern College of Education (Aberdeen Campus). The School enjoys a broad portfolio of degree programmes with an international reputation with the full-time BEd (Hons) Primary, BEd (Hons) Music and the Postgraduate Certificates in both Primary and Secondary Education. In addition to the BEd (Hons) Music, a BMus (Hons) programme is also offered within this School.
