The Peter Darrell Choreographic Award was established in 1998 with a generous grant from the Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund in memory of the life and work of Peter Darrell CBE, Founder Director of Scottish Ballet.
The Award is a platform for emerging choreographers as Peter Darrell was particularly keen to foster and encourage choreographic talent. The Trust aims to make it a biennial event but this is subject to funding.
