 North Ayrshire Library and Information Service provides a wide range of services to support the needs of the community for learning, information and recreation. These are provided through a network of 17 branch libraries, two mobile library services (one on the mainland, one on Arran) and the Service's website. A Local History Collection is based at Library Headquarters in Ardrossan and a Home Library Service is also available.North Ayrshire Library and Information Service is also the North Ayrshire point of contact for Ayrshire Archives, the Ayrshire-wide archives service jointly funded by East, North and South Ayrshire Councils.
