The Village Theatre is a proscenium arch theatre with seating for up to 318 people. It is situated in the heart of the old village of East Kilbride and caters for a wide variety of tastes within its programme of events. It also provides a much needed and sought after venue for many local amateur companies. The theatre has a Studio and a Rehearsal Room available for hire during the day and occasionally for functions during the evening.

Lighting: ETC Insight 2 board, 66 circuits, 60 @ 2kW, 6 @ 5kW, 3-phase, operated from FOH control room
Sound: Soundcraft Spirit 16:4:2 desk operated from FOH control room, Ramsa power amplifiers, various monitor speakers, 2 cassette tape systems, record deck, CD player, 2 minidisc players,facilities for recording and editing
Stage equipment: SM desk at prompt corner SL, SM cue system, ring intercom, cue lights, 8 outstations, show relay/tannoy to dressing rooms
Backstage: 6 dressing rooms, band room, resident staff include 2 technicians, casuals available
