The Carnegie Dunfermline Trust administers three grant schemes, including the Carnegie Dunfermline Cultural Trust which was established in 1903 to improve social and recreational facilities in Andrew Carnegie’s native town of Dunfermline. This Trust has a current annual income of about £310,000 which is used to support a variety of community projects and activities across the arts, heritage, sports, recreation, projects for the disabled, education and others. In supporting these initiatives, the Trust works closely with local schools, clubs and other groups and organisations.The Trust manages the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum (see below).
