New Media Scotland, formed in 1999, is an agency enabling arts activity shaped by new technologies. They support research and development in new media, create opportunities for artists and provide information to the media art community in Scotland. New Media Scotland produces, exhibits and tours digital artworks across Scotland, the UK and internationally.

They aim to support artists work in new media within a Scottish context and internationally, provide information services, promote critical debate and aid research and development in new media arts practice and build awareness for the art and technology sector in Scotland and the work of New Media Scotland.

New Media Scotland programmes and services include exhibition/commissioning opportunities, residencies, seminars/forums, e-lists, electronic publications and professional development opportunities.
