Founded in 1979, the scoiety is a membership body for glass artists, historians and collectors and they aim to promote the development of the art and craftsmanship of glass making in Scotland by advancing the public appreciation of glass as an art form. Their activities include an annual (selling) exhibition, occasional seminars, web site including links to artists and other resources, databank of installations, annual prizes for student work and a quarterly Newsletter
