YouthLink Images 2YouthLink Scotland is an independent voluntary organisation that supports youth work in Scotland. They have in membership all 32 local authorities in Scotland as well as more than 50 national voluntary youth organisations.
The Board of Directors is elected from Youthlink membership at the Annual General Meeting. There are a total of 30 full-time staff.

YouthLink Scotland was established in 2002 and has quickly established itself as the national organisation in Scotland responsible for supporting the development of accessible, high quality youth work services which promote the well-being and development of young people.
YouthLink Images 3Strategically Youthlink aims to support the youth work sector to provide effective services for young people.
They aim to achieve this by:
•Being the voice of the youth work sector in Scotland, achieving recognition at national and international levels.
•Influencing policy which affects the youth work sector and the lives of young people.
•Enabling the sector to make best use of resources.
•Being a source of expert advice and information for youth work practitioners & policy makers.
•Facilitating innovative youth work through research and development.
•Supporting partnership working across the youth work sector.
•Developing YouthLink Scotland as an effective organisation.
YouthLink Scotland has a dedicated International Unit that is committed towards promoting and encouraging youth work practitioners and young people to develop and international perspective to their work. They are also responsible for managing and developing the Eurodesk information service in the UK (see www.eurodesk.org.uk).
Youthlink would redirect overseas enquiries to their network of 100 + Eurodesk partners across the UK.
