The Austrian Institute opened its office in Ljubljana city centre in February 2004. It offers German language courses and co-operates with local institutions that teach German. The Institute engages in the cultural life of the city by organising smaller exhibitions and concerts in co-operation with the Austrian Cultural Forum, Ljubljana.
