The Academy of Fine Arts and Design' Department of Design Library serves the Department of Design, specialising in literature on design, graphic design theory, the history of design and contemporary design.
Together with the Department of Painting, Sculpture and Restoration Library the libraries of the Academy have 24,770 units of library materials and 71 titles of currently ordered serial publications. The library is also an integral part of the library-information network of the University of Ljubljana. It is equipped with classic card catalogues and terminals. Since 1994, data have been entered into the COBISS/OPAC System.
