The Multimedia Centre of Dolenjska has been active since late 2003 within the framework of LokalPatriot, Novo Mesto. It functions as a regional multimedia centre and is part of the m3c Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia. Digital culture has already made considerable strides among the local population, thereby ensuring the Centre's popularity. Visitors can use new hardware and software for their own non-profit projects or participate in a range of creative and educational projects organised by the Centre. A cybercafe is available at LocalPatriot. Its new multimedia portal http://www.dolenjska.info has been developed as a part of the future national cultural portal.
