Kolosej Maribor was opened in 2004 by Kolosej Cinematographers in a modern building on the left bank of the Drava River, five minutes walk from the KIBLA Multimedia Centre. Its nine cinema halls offer 10-15 film titles a day. Since 2006 Maribor Kolosej has also offered films at a 3D hall named XpanD.
