The Afghan NGO Co-ordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) has been working in emergency situations for 20 years. As Afghan artists lack the resources to arrange private exhibitions, CHA has supplied a gallery for their use. CHA Gallery was originally founded in 1999 in Peshawar, Pakistan, to supply artists with a venue to display their work. It was reopened in Kabul in 2002 and now displays carpets made with traditional dyes, paintings, including miniatures, jewellery and embroidery. When the security situation permits, CHA also organises monthly dinner shows here with traditional music and food, priced at $15 to $20 a head. The gallery comprises two 3m x 3m rooms, and although it has thus far only displayed Afghan artists works it would be interested in discussing the possibility of hosting other shows, including exhibitions from overseas. CHA Internet is located in CHA Gallery:
