 FCCS was established in March 2003 with the financial support of the World Bank. Its mandate is to provide an open and neutral space where activities can take place that promote contemporary Afghan culture and the strengthening of civil society. The Foundation’s goal is to promote cultural diversity while strengthening a sense of national identity. The FCCS headquarters incorporate an outdoor stage, which is available for performances.
