Established on 18 March 2002, Kabul Film is a non-governmental filmmaking company whose staff studied and worked in the cinema industry in Iran, where they produced documentary films about the migration of Afghans. The company’s plans include establishing two active film groups, organising training courses, co-operating with foreign film crews and working to produce the first independent Afghan feature film. It wants to fund these endeavours by producing documentary films in collaboration with international cinema networks.
