Staffed by officials of Duy Xuyên District, this office is directly responsible for preservation of the Mỹ Sơn historic vestiges, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Office operates under the professional guidance of the Quảng Nam Provincial Centre for the Preservation of Monuments and the National Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Hà Nội. The Quảng Nam Provincial Office of Museums is currently constructing a Mỹ Sơn World Heritage Museum in Duy Xuyên District.
