The Centre for Information and Technology (CINET) aims: to acquire and apply new technology in gathering, processing, exchanging and managing information by computer in order to serve the management and co-ordination work of the Ministry; to develop new overall plans in the field of culture and information; to build a national database on culture and information with a view to serving the requirements of Vietnamese society; and to acquire and apply both foreign and Vietnamese software in information activities and to transfer this to other organisations. CINET is directly responsible for the management of the Ministry of Culture’s server and website.
