The Office of the Minister has a brief to oversee and regulate all activities in the field of culture sports and tourism, providing orientation and guidance, deciding on and monitoring programmes of work and setting up collaborative projects between different culture, sports and tourism agencies throughout the country. Specific functions include: monitoring working conditions throughout the Ministry; managing the documents and archives of the Ministry; advising the Minister with regard to the import and export of cultural products; overseeing the management of the land and properties belonging to Ministry organisations; looking after health and lifestyle of Ministry cadres and encouraging the development of a respectable way of working for every civil servant in accordance with the law; arranging meetings of the Ministry; and introducing the activities of the culture, sports and tourism sector to the press.
