The Peer Gynt collection at Vinstra is an exhibition rooted in Henrik Ibsen’s world-famous drama Peer Gynt and the historic Peer Gynt who lived on the farm Nordgard Hågå in Vinstra. The exhibition demonstrates the international reputation of Peer Gynt. There are pictures of stage settings, playbills, programmes, costumes and books drawn from exhibitions all over the world. The collection is situated in a house dating from 1743, which is from the Hågå Farm where the historical Peer Gynt used to live.
