The UNESCO Centre for Fine Art brings together artists with a view to encouraging mutual support and creativity in the field of fine arts. It presents fine art exhibitions, organises workshops and seminars and publishes books, magazines and articles in order to introduce artists and their works. The Centre also organises artists’ camps designed to help disadvantaged people to realise their creative potential, arranges tours to craft villages and undertakes a variety of training projects designed to help revive traditional handicrafts. Since 2003 it has been pioneering the development of courses in fashion design and modelling in collaboration with the Fashion Design Institute (Fadin) - see website above for further details.
