 This project focuses on the major heritage sites in Herat: the Musallah, Friday Mosque, and Masuqe Jami. In the Friday Mosque they hope to rebuild the tile work, insulate the roof, rehabilitate the park in the front, rebuild the moulding and paint and add electrical systems so that a sound system can be installed. There is a voluntary donation bank account where people can donate money for the preservation of their heritage and a small per cent of customs duty is also allocated for the preservation of the monuments.
