Phu Hai Tower 1 (Tim Doling)
Located on a hill some three kilometres east of Phan Thiết (close to the new Victoria Phan Thiết resort), Phú Hải temple complex is believed to date back to the 8th century and has been categorised architecturally as belonging to the Mỹ Sơn E1 style, making it the oldest existing tower site of ancient Champa. Comprising two towers and a repository, the complex displays the strong influence of pre-Angkorian Khmer art. It has recently undergone a major restoration by provincial authorities.
