After paying their respects at the nearby Hồ Chí Minh Mausoleum, visitors can continue into the Presidential Palace Vestiges Area, walking through the gardens of the beautiful colonial-era Presidential Palace to visit the simple ethnic minority-style stilted house constructed for Uncle Hồ as a residence and place of work during his years as President of Việt Nam.
