Organised by Philip Morris Việt Nam in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Fine Art, Photography and Exhibition Department, the Việt Nam leg of the Philip Morris ASEAN Art Awards involves cash prizes for each for the five finalists and exhibition opportunities for the 25 runners-up. The competition is open to Vietnamese citizens aged 18 and above, with artists able to submit any painting or artwork in a two-dimensional format. Artists may explore any subject or theme and can submit recent works that have been previously exhibited, provided they have not been entered into any other competitions. The judging panel is made up by five leading art authorities
