Established in 1957, Kim Đồng Publishing House is a national publishing house which specialises in publishing books and cultural commodities for Vietnamese children. Each year it publishes over 1,000 book titles and over 14 million copies. Kim Đồng Publishing House maintains co-operative relations with many publishing houses across the world and also participates in the Asia Pacific Region Children's Book Co-publishing Plan, administered by the Asia/Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO (ACCU).
