The Hà Nam Provincial branch of the Việt Nam Union of Literature and Arts Associations was established in 1994 following the division of former Hà Nam Ninh Province into Hà Nam and Nam Định Provinces. This Association currently has around 60 members and publishes the bimonthly Sông châu Magazine.
