The Confederation of ASEAN Journalists (CAJ) is an association of media organisations in the 10 ASEAN countries. Its members are the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), the National Union of Journalists of Malaysia (NUJM), the National Press Club of the Philippines (NPC), the Singapore National Union of Journalists (SNUJ), the Confederation of Thai Journalists (CTJ), the Viet Nam Journalists’ Association (VJA) and the Lao Journalists Association (LJA). The Association strives to broaden cross-cultural and information exchange between its members and to strengthen ties with traditional partners, including the All China Journalists’ Association, the Japan Newspaper Publishers and Editors’ Association, the Korea Journalists’ Association and the International Institute of Journalism (Berlin-Brandenburg).
