The Phú Thọ Provincial branch of the Việt Nam Union of Literature and Arts Associations was established in 1995 following the division of former Vĩnh Phú Province into Phú Thọ and Vĩnh Phúc Provinces. This active Association currently has around 75 members and publishes the monthly Văn nghệ Đất tổ (Fatherland Literature and Art) Magazine.
