The Quảng Ngãi Provincial branch of the Việt Nam Union of Literature and Arts Associations was set up in 1983 following the establishment of Quảng Ngãi Province in place of former Nghĩa Bình Province. This Association currently has around 100 members and publishes the monthly Văn nghệ (Arts and Literature) Magazine.
