Established in 1989, the Việt Nam Dancers’ Association is a national agency dedicated to the development of the art of dance in Việt Nam and the welfare of dancers, choreographers and other dance practitioners. It currently has over 450 members throughout the country and maintains ties with numerous overseas dance organisations, including the Asia-Pacific Dancers’ Association, the Asian Dancers’ Association, the Hong Kong Dance Association, the Indian Dancers’ Association and the China Central Dance Association. The Association holds an annual conference and publishes the monthly Nhịp Điệu (Rhythm) Magazine:
