A complete guide to culture and arts in Norway. The project was established in 1998, and from 2003, the ABM-utvikling has been charged with editorial responsibility. An enlarged version of the database (containing information on institutions and artists) was launched in 2004. Constantly updated centrally and by regional and municipal officials, the site contains information about cultural events in Norway and provide links to resources available in the cultural area. There is currently no English language version of the content.

The Norwegian Cultural Network is made up of four network groups – the Archive Network, the Art Network, the Library Network and the Museum Network. The purpose of the Norwegian Cultural Network is to co-ordinate these four networks and cover the ‘grey areas' which are not specifically covered by the four groups. The central unit, Norwegian Cultural Network, is organised by the National Library and led by a board consisting of four members from each of the network groups together with three independently-appointed members.
