Arts and Business Norway (Forum for Kultur & Næringsliv) was established in autumn 2001, initiated by major Norwegian companies and art institutions. Since its start, Forum for Kultur & Næringsliv has been supported by the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Forum for Kultur & Næringsliv is an organisation that aims to bridge the gap between the arts and business sectors to stimulate a mutual exchange of knowledge, contacts, competence, values and attitudes.

Forum for Kultur & Næringsliv is part of the network association CEREC (Comité Européen pour le Rapprochement de l`Economie et de la Culture). The British association Arts & Business (former Association of Business Sponsorship in Arts) and Cerec are both important support organisations for the Norwegian association.
