Dates and duration: Annual, May-June, one month
 Launched in 2000 and organised by the European Union Embassies in Việt Nam and the Delegation of the European Commission to Việt Nam in association with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Việt Nam, this annual festival features a selection of acclaimed feature films from countries of the European Union. The aim of the festival is to introduce to Vietnamese audiences the diversity of European cinema and to give them a glimpse of modern socio-cultural issues and traits in the countries of origin. The films are screened both at the National Cinema Centre (NCC) and the Việt Nam Film Association in Hà Nội and at the IDECAF and FAFIM cinemas in Hồ Chí Minh City. |
